Pawan Kalyan starrer Panjaa is undoubtedly one of the biggest movies of 2011. It can be witnessed with the demands for the theatrical rights from the distributors. Recently, we read about the US rights being sold to Bluesky for an undisclosed price. Now, the rights of Hyderabad region have been acquired by Sri Media for an unbelievable price.

Contrary to the earlier reports, Sri Media has sealed the deal a few days ago and not producer Dil Raju. It has acquired the distribution rights of Hyderabad for Rs 14 crore. Considering Pawan Kalyan's fan following in the capital city and Telegana districts, the bosses of Sri Media reportedly agreed to pay the whopping price. Earlier, it had distributed movies like Jai Chiranjeevi, Desamuduru, Rakhi, Chirutha, and Sainikudu.

Panjaa, which also features Sarah Jane, Anjali Lavania, Jackie Shroff, Atul Kulakarni in key roles, will hit the screens on December 9. It is directed by Vishnuvardhan and jointly produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni.
