The Ram-Hansika starrer, Kandireega has completed 100 days at the box office. A rare feat achieved by any Tollywood production in recent times. “The movie completed 100 days of screening in all the centres it was released in,” producer, Bellamkonda Suresh said.

Kandireega was directed by debutant, Santosh Srinivas under the Sri Ganesh Productions banner and is being described as a mass entertainer. “Director Srinivas’s efforts have been rewarded with Kandireega turning out to be a successful family entertainer,” said the producer while he thanked the audience for making the movie one of the Telugu hits this year. Hansika and Aksha played female lead roles, while Thaman lent music for the music.

Maddy to fly to Oz
Madhavan is taking a break for three months and plans to go to Australia for treating his injured knee. The multilingual star injured his knee while shooting for 3 Idiots and was treated in Mumbai but the injury recurred and was aggravated by his busy schedule. He is presently shooting for the Tamil film Vettai and complained of severe pain while dancing for a song sequence. Doctors advised him three months rest, which he plans to take in Australia.
