More Jagan MLAs to rejoin Congress

Congress MLAs who supported the Kadapa MP, Mr Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, and quit from the Assembly and party for his sake, are now slowly returning to the Congress as they see very little chance of mid-term polls.
Even hardcore MLAs from Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy’s camp are meeting the Chief Minister, Mr N. Kiran Kumar Reddy and Speaker, Mr Nadendla Manohar and requesting them not to accept their resignations.
According to sources out of the 26 Congress MLAs who quit in August, as many as 16 MLAs have so far “communicated” to the Speaker that they are not pressing for their resignations. These include Mr D. Chandrasekhar Reddy, Alla Nani, B. Gurunadha Reddy.
It is reliably learnt that Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy had himself asked “his” MLAs not to indulge in a double game of meeting him and the CM and PCC chief conveying different messages.
Mr Chandrasekhar Reddy apparently told the Kadapa MP that he will be with him only but due to pressures from the locals for some pending works he met the Chief Minister.
Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy is learnt to have shot back and told him that if it was a public work why did he not meet the East Godavari collector to sort out the issue.
Realising that many more MLAs may leave him, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy told his close aides that he will continue with his mission regardless of how many MLAs are with him.
The MLAs were told that their resignations, coupled with the Telangana agitation would lead to a turmoil and mid-term polls and the YSR Congress would come to power.
