A lot has been said and written about Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D’souza’s liaison. But looks like the couple has decided to come out in the open about their relationship.

Ritesh who has just wound up his film Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya with his lady lover, has chalked out the plans for announcing their wedding. We ask him about when he would be making an announcement.

To our surprise, the actor didn’t shy away from it neither did he deny getting married to Genelia.

“It’ll happen soon,” he laughed. Ritesh and Genelia have been dating for almost eight years. “Earlier, they denied it completely. But now it’s official that they are a couple and that they’d be tying the knot sometime next year,” says our source.

Apparently, the hitch in their relationship was parental pressure. But that has been sorted out now. Also, the other big issue about what kind of marriage ceremony the couple will finally opt for has also been settled.

Catholic Genelia initially wanted a Christian ceremony whereas the Deshmukhs insisted on a traditional Maharashtrian do. Now, sources say, both families have apparently agreed to go in for a Maharashtrian wedding only.
