Desam to move no-trust vote against CM

The Telugu Desam is planning to move a no-confidence motion against the Kiran Kumar Reddy government in the ensuing Winter Session of the Assembly. The TD game plan is to silence critics of party chief, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, who accuse him of having an understanding with the Chief Minister Mr N. Kiran Kumar Reddy and protecting the Congress government from collapse. It is also to confound YSR Congress chief, Mr Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and TRS chief, Mr K. Chandrasekhar Rao, who have been taunting Mr Naidu to move a no-confidence motion instead of merely criticising the Chief Minister.
“We will move a no-confidence motion during the coming Assembly session. It could be either on the first day or on subsequent days. We will serve notice as per the rules,” Mr Y. Ramakrishnudu, TD politburo member told this newspaper. “There are a number of burning issues which the government has failed to address, including farmers; problems, corruption, irregularities in various works, distress in agriculture sector, and rise in prices of essential commodities. We will take on the government on these issues,” Mr Ramakris-hnudu said.
