Fixation with the date 11-11-11

The 11.11.11 bug has caught up with Tollywood, especially after the publicity blitz of the dubbed English film Viswarakshakudu on the unique date. Four pictures are lined up for release on that date. Starting with O My Friend (Siddharth-Shruti Hassan) and Its My Love Story scheduled for release on November 11, along with two dubbed films, 1911 and Viswarakshakudu. The only flick to be released on November 17 is Sri Rama and the following week will see the Naga Chaitnya starrer, Bezawada released along with Solo on November 24. After a week’s lull, Pawar Kalyan’s Panjaa will hit the theatres on December 9, and will have two weeks all to itself till the next release, Ranjana, will hit the theatres on December 22. Sankranti has a bouquet of six films including; Businessman (11th), Bodyguard (12th), Nippu (13th) and Life is Bueatiful, 3 Rascals, and Poolarangadu coming on January 14. Sankranti will also see two dubbed films hitting the screens.
