Accusing political parties of not being sincere in their fight for Telangana statehood, veteran social activist and freedom fighter, Konda Laxman Bapuji, on Saturday said that the leaders should follow the principle of ‘no jhanda (flag), no agenda)’ in order to achieve the separate statehood goal.

Speaking at the launch of a new political entity — Telangana Praja Rajyam Party — Mr Laxman said that all political parties are working for their selfish interests. Mr Laxman said that Telangana would be a reality only if the politicians unite and work with sincerity for the cause. The T-PRP has been launched by a Supreme Court advocate V. Venugopal.
