A lot of choreographers in T-town seem to be taking to directing lately.

Another choreographer, Raju Sunderam, Prabhu Deva’s brother, has decided to jump on the directing bandwagon.

Prabhu Deva and Amma Rajasekar, were the earlier two choreographers who turned directors. Raju Sunderam is a popular dance master, who has choreographed more than 200 numbers in Telugu movies and is all set to direct superstar, Pawan Kalyan, in an action adventure produced by B. V. S. N. Prasad.

“The script is almost complete and the big budget entertainer will go to the sets early next year after finalising the rest of the cast and crew,” says a source, in the production house.

However, choreographers-turned-directors experienced mixed success at the box office and Prabu Deva and Amma Rajasekar can vouch for it. Can Raju Sudaram prove things otherwise?
